OPEN Licensing Program

The Citrix OPEN Licensing Program provides corporate customers who are implementing Citrix® software solutions greater flexibility in licensing, purchasing, installing and maintaining Citrix products.

Program Levels

The OPEN Licensing Program follows a transaction-based model with four corporate levels of discounts, allowing customers to combine points across all selected products and services in order to establish their corporate discount level.

Throughout the one-year term of the agreement, additional orders can be placed at the same discount level by the customer organization or any customer affiliate. This model is easy to administer and works well for all types of companies, centralized or decentralized.

Subscription Advantage

Products purchased under the OPEN Licensing Program also include Subscription Advantage for all applicable products. Subscription Advantage provides customers with a convenient way to keep their Citrix software current and maximize their server-based computing investments. Not only will you receive software upgrades, enhancements and maintenance releases that may become available during the term of your subscription, you'll also get priority access to important Citrix technology information and customer service news. Subscription Advantage is for a one-year term.

Licensing Agreement

The OPEN Licensing Program Agreement is the main document signed by the end-user customer. It defines the terms and conditions of the program model, describes the product use rights, identifies the date of entry into the program, and names the preferred reseller. Each (OPEN) Agreement is to be accompanied by a completed (OPEN) Worksheet provided by the reseller. Additional agreements may be signed to add Citrix Extranet or Citrix Technical Support Services.

Support Services

The Citrix Services Portfolio can be added to a OPEN Licensing Program purchase order in order to account for additional points. The Citrix Services Portfolio includes a comprehensive collection of Citrix technology services designed to meet the demanding needs of any customer. These services enhance customer IT investments through Preferred Support Services, Citrix Consulting Services and Citrix Training and Certification.
