Policy & Procedures Review
Description
Risk assessments provide an objective analysis of
the effectiveness of the current security controls
that protect an organization’s assets. En Pointe
is a leader in security risk assessments. Our approach
incorporates many tasks to ensure a complete review
of your security controls, including: physical security
reviews, policy and procedure review, organizational
structure assessment, key personnel interviews, architectural
review, configuration review, vulnerability scanning,
penetration testing, and social engineering.
Why En Pointe
En Pointe engineers have the benefit of being independent
of your organization’s security program, yet
equipped with knowledge of your industry and its relevant
regulations. Security engineers – not salesmen,
perform our security policies & procedure reviews,
so you are assured of an objective review and recommendations.
Security policies are the basis for a sound security
implementation. The implementation and operation of
any set of technical security solutions without appropriate
policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures may
result in unfocused, ineffective security controls,
and legal risks.
Based on our experience with security regulations,
industry practices, and developing and reviewing security
procedures for many organizations, En Pointe has developed
a process for reviewing security policies and procedures.
This process will include interviews with key personnel
and reviews of existing policies and procedures to
catalog their existence, determine their clarity and
organization, ensure they are approved and distributed
and ensure they cover all necessary elements and contain
effective controls. En Pointe will provide recommendations
for areas where gaps are discovered.
