Los Angeles County Selects En Pointe Technologies for Microsoft Office 365 Contract
One of the Largest Office 365 Deals in State and Local Government for Microsoft this Year
LOS ANGELES, CA – June 18, 2014 – En Pointe Technologies, one of the largest Microsoft Licensing Solutions Providers (LSPs) and systems integrators, today announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract by Los Angeles County to provide over 100,000 Microsoft Office 365 for Government seats across the county’s more than 30 departments. The record-setting win is worth $72M in licensing revenue, making it one of the largest Office 365 implementations in state and local government for Microsoft this year.
Savings to the County
Based on the current cost of its Microsoft Enterprise Agreements (EA), and the cost of operating its own email services, Los Angeles County is expected to save over $2,500,000 annually after the first year Office 365 implementation.
