Assistant Manager – Human Resources
Our rapidly growing company has an immediate opening for an Assistant Manager – Human Resources. Reporting to (and working closely with) the Senior Director of HR, this position will take an active role in keeping the company's human resource function running smoothly. While this position will have some management-level authority and responsibility, it is also entrusted with the "hands on" performance of complex administrative HR tasks on a daily basis. Major Duties:

- Partnering with field management to assist in recruiting, hiring, training, retaining and terminating employees in accordance with company policy and applicable employment law.
- Suggesting/helping develop processes and policies to recruit and retain the best employees and help find ways for current employees to succeed at the company.
- Assist with solving major human resource problems such as dispute resolution, work safety, harassment or legal issues.
- Work closely with all members of HR staff and perform a wide range of daily, HR administrative tasks, with a heavy emphasis on HR database maintenance and benefits.
Minimum Required Qualifications & Skills:
-
Five (5) years recent experience as a senior-level human resources administrator/generalist. To be considered, this recent experience must include:
- Actively managing and maintaining a human resource information system (ADP HRB software preferred).
- Hands-on experience handling a broad range of HR administrative duties with an emphasis on benefits and related compliance (including 401(k) administration)
- At least one (1) year successfully working in an HR organization that has offshore or remote HR support.
- Bachelor's degree with a well-rounded education including classes in business administration and management, accounting, sociology, psychology, and labor law.
- Superlative and demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in effectively practicing HR in rapidly growing/changing business environments.
- A proven track record of managing rapidly changing priorities, staying level-headed in difficult situations, and making fair, unbiased, authoritative and well-thought out decisions.
- Highly developed, solution-oriented interpersonal skills, applied to working effectively with people of varying backgrounds & cultures.
To be considered, please submit all of the following:
- Current resume.
- Cover letter/email which identifies the one most significant and recent HR accomplishment which you feels qualifies you for this Assistant Manager – HR position.
- Sample of recent HR documentation which you have authored yourself (please fully mask any company proprietary information before sending).
Only those responses which meet all three (3) of the above submission criteria will be considered.
