Over the weekend I had the opportunity to watch the awesome animated movie Kung Fu Panda 2, which was created by DreamWorks Animation. The colors, images, animation and details are fantastic.

12-year-old DreamWorks has earned a great reputation; its movies are virtually guaranteed high box-office returns. This creator has been highly successful with movies like Shrek, Madagascar,Monsters vs. Aliens and Kung Fu Panda.

As you may have read previously, Prith Banerjee, the director of HP Labs talked about some of the amazing projects his teams are working on. Quite a bit of his presentation was tied to environmental concerns, and he openly spoke about how data center’s use a pretty good chunk of our countries electrical output. However, HP Labs is working on what they call “sustainable IT”, and in fact they’ve been working on it since the early 1990’s – way before Green was talked about much in IT circles.

When I’m in the office, sometimes I feel like my workspace is crowded because the system hardware occupies a large portion of my space.  Then I learned about HP’s Integrated Work Center Stand.  Its space saving design freed up some of my valuable desk space. I can adjust the height, and posture to achieve the best work preference. The new cable pass through designed simplified the cable routing making a neat clutter free workspace. The VESA mounting enable me to install the 19” LCD quickly and easily.
