Yesterday, Apple had their big marketing event to make announcements on their tablets, laptops, software, and desktops.
To sum it up: everything is lighter, thinner, and faster, and for the iPad mini and the MacBook Pro, I’m happy to report they’re now offered with Retina display. A highlight for me was the iPad Air—it looks incredible, and it’s just one pound.
Since it was announced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference back in June, I’ve been anticipating the release of iOS 7. At WWDC, Craig Federighi, SVP of software engineering at Apple, lauded iOS 7 as “the biggest change to iOS since the iPhone.” Set for release on September 18, iOS 7 will make the iPad more productive, intuitive and secure—especially with enterprise-friendly features that allow for more control by IT management and enhanced utility for workers.
