Computer Associates Open License Program (OLP) is designed to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes. OLP helps to reduce the costs associated with evaluating, acquiring, implementing, deploying and maintaining CA software and services. And now it’s even easier to qualify for these discounts, install and register new software.

The Computer Associates (CA) Master License Program (MLP) is designed fororganizations with large computing environments. MLP reduces the cost ofevaluating, acquiring, maintaining, upgrading, and managing CA software.

Becoming an MLP member is a simple process. Every product and service offered through MLP has a point value associated with it. To buy through MLP, customers agree upfront to purchase products and services that equal designated point values as outlined.

How does it work? |
In many cases, purchasing just two copies of CA Software qualifies forenrollment in the Program. Just follow these simple steps: |
Step 1
Each product and service has a point value.40-points or more on the initial order automatically qualifies for the OLPdiscount for a 2-year period. |
Step 2
Add the required OLP Media Pack (10 Points) tothe initial order. (Optional for re-orders) |
Step 3
Add Upgrade Protection, education, etc. |
Step 4
Purchase additional CA solutions at the OLPdiscount level for 2 years. |

Step 1
Enter MLP with a commitment to purchase at least 5,000 points worth ofsoftware and services over a two-year period. |
Step 2
A minimum purchase of 2,000 points is required on the first order. |
Step 3
At the end of the first year of the agreement, another 1,500 pointspurchase is required. Therefore a total of 3,500 points (2,000 + 1,500) must beaccrued in the first year of the agreement. |
Step 4
In the second year, another purchase of 1,500 points is required,bringing the grand total for the two-year term of the MLP agreement to 5,000points. |

Media Kit |
With your initial order you will receive a Media Pack containing your purchasedsolution, as well as a variety of related live trials you can evaluate at yourconvenience. The Media Pack is required for initial orders, but is optional forreorders. |
The FREE MLP Media Kit contains everything needed to install the new CA softwarequickly and easily, allowing immediate deployment and use. There is always haveaccess to software when and where it is needed – without having to managemultiple license keys or acquire and ship multiple copies of shrink-wrapped boxproducts. It also includes a media pack of 30-day live trial software of otherCA products that fall into the solution area purchased from such as storage,security, or data modeling. |
