The second Dell World expo launched last month in Austin Texas to huge success. New Dell products rolled out to enthusiastic crowds. Among the show highlights:
The new Dell XPS One 27” Touch all-in-one computer system with its 27” wide Quad Hi-Def touchscreen with 2540x1440 resolution delivers 33% more pixels to look radiant. The system as a whole appeared very sleek, and high-tech looking.
Other products on display included the new Dell Ultrabook laptops featuring 2nd generation Intel Core processors ranging from i5-1.60 GHz to i7-1.70 GHz with Turbo Boost. This extremely thin Ultrabook laptop feels very durable utilizing bonded Gorilla Glass with machined aluminum and carbon fiber.
The sharp and professional looking Dell XPS 10” Tablet was also trotted out to show. This little product is ideal for home use and for work. It comes optional with a mobile keyboard dock. An additional battery that provides all-day productivity.
The Dell World event promoted a number of publishers such as, Logitech, Intel, and Good Technology. The well attended event also featured customer-facing breakout sessions consisting of, BYOD, bring your own device advice. , Other topics included putting a comprehensive cloud computing strategy into action, advanced persistent threats, social media: The Power of Open, and Can your storage learn new tricks? Lastly, the event featured a closing keynote from the authors of Freakanomics, Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. All in all Dell World was a huge success and the 3rd annual event will be even bigger.
