What’s the most efficient way to house people? An apartment building provides comfortable living space. Multi-tenant properties provide options for different tenant needs, but the basics are there for everyone, with some resources shared, like parking for example. I live in a house with my wife. There are 5 bedrooms. At one time we used them all, but the kids have all moved out.
