This blog’s topic is on Cisco Unified Communications with Cisco’s new Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS)!  As you may or may not know Cisco is now in the server market by manufacturing their very own servers!  They are directly competing with HP and IBM in this market on both the Rack-Mount Server and Blade Center Server market!

Cisco Smart Grid Solutions

Cisco announces Cisco Mobile 8.0 for iPhone 3G and 3GS

Adding to its unified mobility portfolio, Cisco has announced Mobile 8.0 client for iPhone 3G and 3GS. Cisco Mobile 8.0, which is downloadable from iTunes App store, essentially turns your iPhone into an IP Phone. Previously, the Cisco mobile communicator for iPhone, required Cisco Unified Mobility Advantage server to run. It also required phone proxy license on the ASA firewall to communicate with the CUMA server. All of these requirements would compound into additional hardware, software and licensing.

Cisco Capital Offers Solutions for budget deficits

Cisco introduces next generation 322 Terabits routing system

Cisco today announced a major advancement and "game changing"  technology in internet routing with its CRS-3 carrier class routing system.  According t to the announcement the CRS-3 has triple the capacity of its predecessor CRS-1 and can route data at an astonishing speed of 322 Terabits per second.
