Release Notes:  AccessPointe 5.6 Release 1

It is En Pointe Technologies’ continuous effort to improve services. In this document we have provided a summary of the latest enhancements to our AccessPointe e-procurement tool in this June 2011 release.

Key Benefits and Features

In this release we have improved the usability of the new optional order tracking module and made a few minor changes in the Standards feature.  Please find below the summary of these visual and functional enhancements.

Release Notes: AccessPointe Mobile 1.0

What Color is Your Data (Data Management)

It probably isn't a secret anymore that our data use is growing day by day and our appetite to have more and more information available to us all the time is ever increasing. Whether it is the use of a computer, a Smart phone, or a tablet, we need to see more details, get faster updates, and access the social network instantly. All of this colorful information itself is a combination of many different fragmented sections that get together to form something meaningful that the companies can benefit from and present to its clientele and its targeted audience. For example, one single product that you might be looking at can have its vital characteristics appear in a specific form to help you understand it.

The same product might contain reviews from other users to help you understand what others thought about this product. It can also have other suggested and associated products mentioned to try to consolidate your shopping experience. The same product can even carry certifications, standard conformations and/or labeling that will help you decide how green it is (one of the newest trends in IT technology and shopping).

Key Benefits and Features

  • New Streamlined User Interface for Order Tracking Module.
  • Order Tracking Module now uses Refine Search Options similar to Product Search.
  • Export Order Tracking Search Results to Excel Sheet (current page).
  • User can either set new Order Tracking main page or keep the old one.
  • Standard and Bundles Categories are easier to select and are now listed in the Left Navigation panel.

Features

  • Product Gallery – multiple images are available with the slide show feature.
  • Multi – Tabbed layout to better arrange information for easy accessibility.
  • Explore Product – See information and videos provided by the manufacturers.
  • View Product videos posted by YouTube's community on product detail page.
  • Browse through User's comments from Digg.com.
  • Configuration option has been renamed to Product Finders to make their purpose more obvious.
  • Page width adjusted to minimum 1024 and maximum 1280 pixels to support large screens.
  • Legacy Browser support is discontinued in the release.
