En Pointe Enhances Managed Services
Restructuring of Service Management Best Practices, Processes, and Infrastructure Upgrade Prepares Company for Scalable Growth

Los Angeles – January 23, 2008 – En Pointe Technologies (NASDAQ:ENPT), announced today that it has begun investing in its information technology infrastructure, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards, and is developing talent within its services organization to prepare it for growth.

“With the adoption of ITIL as a best‐practice service management framework along with process improvements and infrastructure upgrades, we see our managed service capacity poised for growth,” commented Bob Din, CEO of En Pointe Technologies. “This solid operational foundation, along with our business culture of performance, accountability, and flexibility, enables an effective and cost‐efficient managed service model to our customers.”

Methodology and Standard Operating Processes
En Pointe has recently adopted the ITIL framework to continue positioning itself as a leader in the managed services industry with concentrated excellence in the area of client services which include Service Desk, integrated with field services and life‐cycle services.  As a service provider, En Pointe’s ITIL implementation helps its clients receive consistent, reliable and optimized service levels at the best possible cost.

Infrastructure
En Pointe is also making strategic investments including upgrades to its AMDOCs Clarify Call Management System, Cisco Unified Communications 6.0 Call Manager, Remote Desktop Management tools, Software Asset Management and back office systems. These enterprise applications handle En Pointe’s closed‐loop incident management process known as Total Call Management (TCM).

People
En Pointe has reshaped its service organization to reflect the needs of both its internal lines of business and its clients. En Pointe’s Program Management Office and Service Business Office have revised internal Operating Level Agreements, which support interdependent, yet
accountable business units with better communication.

“Although the adoption of best practices, process, and infrastructure enhancements are fundamental improvements, our greatest asset, the one with the most impact to our foundation for success, remains our human resources. These technological and operational changes bring forth benefit only through the skill of our people, as they are paramount to our
success.” added Richard Emil, VP of Service.
