Account Executive - Hardware / Software Sales

Pointe is currently experiencing explosive growth and recent acquisitions,
as a result we are adding Account Executives in New Jersey. Candidates
should be experienced selling any combination of the following; VAR,
Systems Integrator, Manufacturer, Software Publisher or have similar
experience calling on Fortune 1000 accounts and have 2 years or more
experience selling Software, Hardware, Security, Storage, Network Infrastructure,
Server Consolidation, Wireless/Mobile Computing, or any specific technology
niche.
Tasks:
- Prospect for new business through outbound telephone
sales and direct meetings for new and existing customers in geographic
region.
- Your focus will be to drive net-new software and
hardware business. You will also take over a base of accounts with
expectations to grow existing business. Travel locally is required.
- Develop and maintain executive relationships and
customer communication through quarterly and annual business reviews
- Maintain sales appointment levels and revenue goals
as outlined.
- Address account challenges and provide swift solutions.
- Respond to sales leads, RFP,s and develop prospecting
lists.
- Support other sales departments on multi-facetted
engagements including eBusiness, or Services.
- Attend training classes as offered or directed.
- Support marketing efforts promoting En Pointe
as the total solution partners.
- Work with internal sales and operational groups that
support your sales activity to ensure customer transactions are processed
accurately and efficiently.
Minimum
qualifications
- College degree or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years sales experience.
- Proven record of success achieving/exceeding sales
targets and goals.
- Self motivated / highly driven.
- Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively.
- Ability to travel.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
